North Maharashtra University,NMU Jalgaon was established on August 15, 1989 after separating it from the parent University of Pune. The university campus is located at Jalgaon in Maharashtra, India. It occupies an area of 404 acres on the banks of Girna river. Massive plantation has been undertaken to enrich the natural beauty of the campus. Currently there are 62 members comprising the university's teaching faculty.
